About the experience
A cultural and linguistic journey through Lille
This unique experience is not a typical guided tour.
It’s an interactive walk designed for those who wish to practise French in real life, discover Lille’s culture, and connect with a passionate local
Together, we’ll stroll through the cobbled streets of Old Lille, admire the Grand’Place, the Citadelle, the Hospice Comtesse and the Palais des Beaux-Arts while exploring the stories, architecture, and traditions that make this northern city so special
Every stop is an opportunity to observe, describe, and interact in French through natural conversation and simple expressions
Exterior tour by default (museum interiors available on 100% bespoke request).
A taste of French life
During the tour, we’ll stop for a coffee and a local pastry – perhaps a famous Méert waffle or a Pouchin from the Ogre de Carousselberg – in one of my favourite cafés. It’s a relaxed, authentic moment to chat, learn, and enjoy the art de vivre à la française

Everything is conducted in French and always adapted to your level whether you’re a complete beginner or a confident speaker
My goal is to make you feel comfortable and enjoy using French through guided interaction, simple expressions, and real-life observation

Tour options and practical info
You can choose between two types of private tours
The Essential Lille Tour (around 2 hours) focuses on the city’s highlights: Old Lille, the Grand’Place, and the most emblematic landmarks. It’s perfect if you want a first authentic taste of the city, while practicing your French.
This option starts from €150 for 1–2 participants
If you’d like to go further, the Full Experience (4–5 hours) allows you to discover Lille in depth: from the historic heart to its hidden corners known only to locals. This version is ideal for curious travellers who want to explore at a slower pace, enjoy more conversation, and fully experience the city’s rhythm.
